@RaidenBlack: I think they could remove content for one character and put the story being told in those bits as vignettes of it that play to alleviate the potential flip-flop.
You’re right, yes, February is still far away, but I still think “because of Ghost” is irrational. I just don’t like the game. And honestly, whatever changes they make? The core problems will probably not be solved.
Edit: A few months ago I finally bought the Avatar UltraGoldPlatinumOver9000 edition for about $30 and it was well worth it, but I’m definitely making the right choice to just wait for big sales on all things Ubisoft for now. I think Ubisoft has an internal problem with following a playbook that customers are getting quite tired of.
Edit 2: I’m pretty sure I’m calling it correctly here because the dual leads are the problem. From their call today—
“In terms of competition related to Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the focus is really on making sure we deliver a fantastic experience, with the game’s dual protagonist approach, with two different and complementary gameplays, with Yasuke and Naoe, in a setting that set in feudal Japan, that should be really tempting,” he said.
